Heller Nature Center is a fantastic place to spend the day with your family. The center has three miles of trails for hiking, biking, and walking and 97 acres of oak-hickory forest perfect for birdwatching. Educational programs and classes are offered for all ages because you’re never too old to learn something new. We look forward to Ravinia® every year. North America’s oldest music festival features more than 100 live concerts and other events throughout the summer.
We’re also fortunate to have many great restaurants to choose from. Cafe Dacha is one of our favorites, serving up Eastern European cuisines, such as borscht, cured herring, and blini. Abigail’s American Bistro is a fabulous eatery if you’re in the mood for a sweet treat. You can enjoy housemade cookies and ice cream and a variety of fine wines and craft cocktails.

What great people to work with! Despite the craze of on-line ordering or the lure of coupons that fill my mailbox (and recycling bin), nothing beats the personal touch. I wanted to see my options, not just in sample books but hanging on display. I wanted to talk about the pros & cons. And I wanted to know that someone would still be there once the job was done if I had questions or problems. Well, Rainey's delivered that and more. Their shop in Arlington Hts. is very convenient. They are family-owned so have roots here. They are knowledgeable, reliable and reasonably priced. And despite my D-I-Y tendencies, I was more than happy to have them do this job so it was done using their knowledge and skill for mounting techniques. We are delighted with the outcome. 6+ Stars!
I recommend Rainey's! When spending a lot of money on window treatments, I wanted to make sure I was going to be happy in the end. Mark and Nate were very patient, detailed oriented and answered all my questions. Their customer service was excellent which is refreshing in the current business world. Installation was done in a thorough manner and to my satisfaction. I will return to complete the remainder of my windows.
